Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, July 11, 2022 at Villa Leonardo Gambin as the sun set on his 86th birthday. Beloved husband of Joanne for 51 wonderful years. Cherished father of Andrea and Lori. Dearest Nonno of Ophelia. Predeceased by his siblings Evaristo, Angelo, Maria, Anna, Giuseppe, Pietro and Antonio. Dear brother in law of Vince (Concetta), Frank (Margaret) and Vera. Sante will be forever loved by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends here and in Italy.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) on Thursday, July 14 from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, July 15 at 10:30 a.m. Private family entombment to follow at Park Lawn Mausoleum. Reception for all guests will be at noon in the party room of 2 Old Mill Dr.
The family welcomes visitors to wear white in celebration of Sante’s beautiful life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Villa Leonardo Gambin – Better Beds Campaign would be appreciated by the family.
