Passed away peacefully on January 29, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Odo and daughter Evelyn (Alexander). Loving mother of Michael (Ana). Cherished Nonna of Nicole (Felipe), Christian, Kristen and Samantha and great-grandmother of Lucas.
Santa and Odo were married in Italy on June 19, 1954. Following her husband, Santa immigrated to Canada in 1955 where she worked as a seamstress, sewing jerseys for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
She will be sadly missed by her many family and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home Weston Chapel, 2035 Weston Road, Toronto, on Thursday, February 7th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 8th, 2019 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Toronto. Entombment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Mississauga.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Humber River Hospital.
