It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sandro Colagiovanni on July 7, 2022 at the age of 82. Sandro was born on November 1, 1939, to Pietro and Cristina Colagiovanni of Campobasso, Italy. Devoted husband to Concetta. Beloved father of Cristina (Patrick), Rosa (Maurizio) and Dave (Laura). Proud grandfather of Jessica, Adam, Kristin and Sabrina. He enjoyed spending time with his family watching hockey and soccer, a true Toronto Maple Leafs fan since the day he arrived in Canada. Sandro’s homemade wine and vegetable garden were second to none. He enjoyed sharing the fruits of his labour with his family and friends. He taught his kids what it meant to be a hard worker and provide for the family. Sandro will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Family and friends are welcomed to gather at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday July 12, 2022, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 13, 2022 and will be held at St. Jane Frances Church (2747 Jane St, North York). Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
