After a sudden and courageous battle with cancer, Sandra passed away in her home in the early morning of February 18, 2016.

Sandra was a vibrant, active, hardworking and beautiful young lady who charmed everyone she met with her special warmth and bright smile. Our sweet Sandra was taken long before her time and will be missed every day by so many.

Loving daughter of Pierina and the late Valentino Zanette, sister of Mary (the late Nino Battistuzzi), John (the late Marilyn Dol-Zanette) and Linda (the late Jim Malkou), cherished aunt to Carlo and Marco Zanette and Godmother to Aric Bagshaw and Rachelle Cairns. Beloved volleyball teammate of the Board of Directors.


Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy. 7, Woodbridge, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, February 22, 2016 at 11a.m. with burial to follow at Prospect Cemetery on St. Clair Ave. Donations in memory of Sandra may be sent to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
