It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Sandra Vincent on December 23, 2023 in her 80th year. Sandra was born to Roy and Marie Wagg on June 5, 1943 and was one of eleven children. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Eugene, with whom she spent many wonderful years, with her brother Ernie, sisters Alice, and Dianne (Steve), her brother-in-law John, and sisters-in-law Jackie and Carol. She has also been reunited with her best friend Valorie, who she was friends with since kindergarten.

Sandra leaves behind her loving children Allan (Kim), Debbie and Pamela. She was a devoted grandmother to Lauren and Lloyd. She will be greatly missed by her siblings Grace, Marilyn (Gord), Frances (Frank), Joan (Angelo), Joanne (Donny), Lenore (Willy), and Gary (Dianne), as well as her nieces, nephews and extended family.

Sandra was an avid knitter. She loved to watch NCIS and the Toronto Blue Jays whenever the opportunity arose, and she enjoyed playing computer games as well.

Sandra was very strong willed and determined. She was very loving, witty, always smiling and angelic.

Sandra felt compelled to think of others even in death. As such, she made the decision to donate her body to science, specifically the University of Toronto’s Willed Body Program, and her family honours that decision. They are grateful for this, her final selfless act in the interest of others.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on December 30, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ward Funeral Home Chapel (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge).
