Retired, longtime employee of Tate & Lyle – Redpath Sugar, Toronto.
Peacefully yet suddenly on Thursday December 1st, 2016 at the age of 78.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Sonny Verge. Loving mother of Darlene (Leslie), Glenda, and Paul (Lucy). Cherished grandmother of Adam (Sasha), Eric, Michael, Rachel. Remembered by her sister Jean Christie. Sandra will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Sunday December 4, 2016 from 12noon until the time of service in the chapel at 1:30pm.
Cremation to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Toronto University Health Network would be greatly appreciated.
