Salvatore (Sam) Lettieri passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday December 5, 2023 at the age of 93. He was the oldest son of the late Luigi and Giovannina Lettieri, brother of Gaetano (deceased), Esilda, Mariano, Santino (deceased), and Francesco.

Salvatore was the devoted and loving husband of Adelaide ( deceased) for 69 years. He was the proud father of Louis (Adriana) and Joanna (Tony) and cherished Nonno of Sal (Natalja), Tania (Vince) , Michael (Lindsay), and Anthony ( Erica) and loving great grandfather of Louis, Francesco, Sienna, Sophia, Matteo, Joseph, Nicholas, Julian, and Marco. He was very appreciative of his caregivers Jean, Teresa, and Nenita that supported him over the years.

Family and his many friends will fondly remember Salvatore for his wonderful qualities. He enjoyed going for walks, dancing, playing his accordion, was an avid reader, and loved to learn. In his later years he enjoyed golfing.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy #7, Woodbridge, on Saturday 4 to 8 pm, Sunday 2 to 4 pm , 6 to 8 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, 9:30 am, at St. Peter's Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery.
