Ruth Isabelle Doherty

Ruth Isabelle Doherty, 65, of Brampton, Ontario, passed away after a long journey with cancer on October 14, 2015 in Brampton, Ontario.

Ruth was born in Collingwood, Ontario to Allan and Isabelle Knott. Loving wife to Robert Doherty and mother to Alana Beckett and Anthea McFarland. Loving sister to Mary Holmes and Anne Eaton and twin brother Robert Knott. Ruth was a wonderful Nana to Abbey and Callum McFarland and Olivia and Bryson Beckett and mother in law to Chris McFarland and Bill Beckett.

A funeral service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy #10), Brampton on Saturday October 17, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with a celebration of Ruth’s life to immediately to follow at the Peel Art Gallery and Museum (PAMA), 9 Wellington Street East, Brampton (adjacent to Ward Funeral Home).
