Hannah Ruth Gowdy (nee Bailey)

Passed away peacefully yet suddenly in her 93rd year. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, C. Nelson. Caring mother to Richard (Judy). She will be greatly missed by grandchildren Kathleen (Steve), Rick and James and great grandchild Audrey and her late sister Norma. She will also be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Ruth was a proud educator of young children. Friends will be received at Humbervale United Church, 1447 Royal York Rd., Etobicoke, on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. Interment to take place at Farringdon Cemetery in Brantford on Monday, January 25 at 12 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humbervale United Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
