It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ruby Joyce Rasmussen on Friday, 11 November 2011. Ruby will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Ruby was the loving mother of 6 children - Eleise, Erdiston, Patricia, Kim, Alfred and Ian - 15 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She was a proud and loving mother who dedicated her life to her children. She worked as a nurse at St Joseph’s Hospital (Toronto), retiring after 19 years of caring for others.



A celebration of Ruby’s life will be held on Thursday 17 November and Friday 18 November at Ward Funeral Home 52 Main Street South Brampton, Ontario (just south of Queen Street), with visitation from 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. The funeral Service will be held on Saturday, 19 November at 10:30am at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, 3 Cathedral Road, Brampton, Ontario.



Mother, you will be missed. Your love for your children had no limits. We continue the love you taught us with our families. Now as an Angel at God’s side, we look forward towards your continued love and guidance. With love from your children.
