Peacefully surrounded by family at the age of 89. Predeceased by her loving husband James. Loving mother of Kathleen (Sam D’Uva), Jim, Linda (Frank Girardi), Brian (Robin), Cindy De Jonge, and Lorraine (Richard Bellio). Cherished Nanny of Amanda, Joseph, Sammy, Melissa, Stephen, Amy, Eric, Olivia, Alyssa, Vanessa and Katrina. Beloved sister-in-law of Agnes Rooney. The family would like to thank the exceptional staff at the Village of Humber Heights Long Term Care, especially Sharan Hosten. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Sunday December 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Clements Catholic Church, 409 Markland Drive, Etobicoke on Monday, December 4 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
