Rosemary “Rosie” Cooper, born August 6, 1956, in Toronto, passed away surrounded by family after a life filled with kindness, curiosity, and adventure. Raised in Clarkson, Mississauga, Rosie was the beloved daughter of Ken and Diane and cherished sister of Doug (Joanne). She was a devoted aunt to Mike (Joanna) and Jackie and great‑aunt to Johnny, Easton, Henley and Kassie who she loved as her own grandchildren.
Rosie attended McMaster University and spent her career in Media living Downtown Toronto, forming lifelong friendships and earning a reputation for her compassion and integrity. A passionate sports fan, she attended countless Blue Jays, Raptors, and hockey games, as well as many other major sporting events across North America. She was an avid reader, outdoor enthusiast, and lover of travel.
Rosie will be remembered as a warm, intelligent, and independent woman whose generosity touched everyone she met. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate to share in her life.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, Brampton (52 Main St S Brampton) at 10:30 a.m. until a time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 20th 2026 and are encouraged to wear Blue Jays attire or other Canadian Sports related gear
