Rose Wells

Rose Sarah Wells

After years of embodying “Keep Calm and Carry On”, my mother has finally decided to rest.
Rose dedicated her life to the service of others.  She was a midwife, a nurse, a Brown Owl and District Commissioner in Guiding, a volunteer in classrooms, a member of the C.W.L., a volunteer with W.A.E.S. and most importantly a dedicated mother and grandmother.
Life with her was always an adventure.  The words I dreaded most were, “I’ve been thinking.” because they generally meant some sort of new adventure, or work…on my part!
She has definitely earned her wings, and will be embraced by all those who loved her but have gone before her.
Our hearts are heavy.

Donations can be made to Weston Area Emergency Support in Rose's memory.
