Rose Gallo

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Rose while surrounded by family after a brief illness, on Monday, January 29, 2018. Cherished wife of Rocco for over 40 years, she was also a loving mother to her son, Anthony, her daughter, Christine and son-in-law, Enrico. Above all, she relished in her role as doting grandmother to her princess Catherine and darling Matthew. Sharing in sorrow are her parents, Joe and Nicolina Cianciulli, and her dear sister, Adri, brother-in-law, Phil and young niece, Jaclyn.

Rose was a vivacious spirit who delighted in attending concerts and social gatherings with Rocco, enjoying spontaneous road trips, or an afternoon in the sun. Above all, she will be remembered for her generous heart and gregarious laugh. It will be that laughter that will echo in the fond memories of her many friends and family, who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge, on Thursday, February 1 from 6-9 pm, and Friday, February 2, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s Church, 11873 The Gore Road, Brampton, on Saturday, February 3, at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.
