In Loving Memory
Rose passed away in calmness of her home at the Wenleigh Nursing Home in Mississauga ON. She was born in Toronto and resided in Oakville for over 50 years. Lovely and classy even in her 95th year of life. Like most people of her era, she went to work at a young age, and worked and played hard her whole life. Blessed with beauty and charisma, she married Carl Collins and lived a wonderful life until his passing. After a decade she married a loving man John Raskovsky, who treated Rose like a queen until his passing. Rose tasted life through her family, friends, and the Catholic Church. She will be sadly missed by her many nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces of the Bordin, Mucci, Iacobaccio, and Morra families. Her kindness and generosity to family, and church will always be remembered. May peace be with you on your new journey. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street Oakville,(905-844-3221) on Wednesday, March 2 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A funeral service for this wonderful Lady will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Toronto. Rather than donations, she would have liked you to go out with your loved ones and have a smile-filled dinner, garnished with great memories.
