Tramonte, Rosaria (nee Fantetti)

Rosa died peacefully at Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, July 6, 2014 after a brief illness at 104. She will be reunited with her beloved husband Antonio (August, 2011) and her daughter Giuseppina (1958). Rosa is survived by her children Lucy and Amedeo Luciani, Matteo and Gina Tramonte, Jay and Bonnie Tramonte, 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Highway 7 (just west of Pine Valley Drive) Woodbridge on Tuesday, July 8 and Wednesday July 9 from 6-9 pm.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Roch’s Catholic Church, 2889 Islington Avenue on Thursday, July 10th at 10 am. Christian burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Many thanks to the staff at Villa Colombo, Fusco Wing, third and fourth floors who provided great care and comfort to Rosa who spent her last 16 years there quietly suffering with Alzheimers disease.
In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer Society or to Sunnybrook Palliative Care Unit would be greatly appreciated by the family.
