Peacefully in her 98th year on Friday July 14, 2023.
Beloved wife of the late Paolo, married for 39 years. Adored mom to Lena (Peppe Moncada), Frank (Josie) and Lou (Yvette). Cherished Nonna to Paolo, Michael (Jessica), Marco (Katrina), Daniel (Josie), Kristy (Jesse), Lynzie (Kenneth) and bis-Nonna to Leo, Alessio, Gio and Rosario. Dear sister to her 11 siblings.
Rosa will be forever remembered for being a very lively lady, always with a smile on her face; she was aptly given the nickname “smiley Nonna Rosa”.
Rosa embraced everyone she met. She was so warm and welcoming that she became known as everyone’s Nonna. Rosa radiated love, and in return was very dearly and deeply loved. She never missed an opportunity to have her nails or hair done, and in true lady fashion of her generation, Rosa was always glammed up in classic apparel with accessories.
