Ronald Ball

We are saddened by the sudden passing of our dear father, Ronald Charles Ball, at the age of 93 on Friday, October 31, 2025.

Predeceased by his wife Margery (nee Smart) and his sister Yvonne Fowles. Survived by his loving sister Verna Burger, his eldest son Steven (Helen), daughter Lesley (Robert), and youngest son Wayne along with grandchildren Simon, Adrienne and Branden.

Ronald was a quiet yet loving man who embraced his love of the outdoors whether through admiring nature, gardening, or studying various species of birds. In his childhood years, Ronald enjoyed building balsa wood plane models, playing baseball, and was quite the bowling enthusiast. Fast forward to his adult life, Ron spent his working years employed by Eaton’s, retiring with an impressive 43 years of service. Above all, his biggest passion was his family.

We appreciate the love and compassion of the nurses and staff at Humber Meadows Long Term Care Centre and Humber River Hospital.

Cremation and a private family gathering will take place.
