Romeo passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday November 25th, 2023 at the age of 65. He leaves behind his beloved wife Celinda, his children Romeo Jr. and Loredana (Alfonso), their mother Marisa, his niece Branka, and his cherished siblings Dragica, Branko, Nevenka and Snjeza, and their families. He will be greatly missed by his many family and friends. Romeo has been reunited with his parents, Branko and Mirjana, his brother Milan, and his nephew, Robi.

Romeo was a man who loved working with his hands - from carpentry and woodworking, to his chosen career as an electrician. He was also a talented artist. Romeo was extremely intelligent, well-travelled and spoke many languages fluently. He was a man of facts, with a love of conversation and debate.

Quiet time was enjoyed with his beloved birds. A cold Corona and a few hands of poker or rummy were the ultimate night in.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home - 4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Wednesday November 29th, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Thursday November 30th, 2023 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
