Robert Swales

We are sad to announce the passing of Robert James Swales of Toronto, Ontario at the age of 76. He passed away on August 5, 2023 surrounded by loved ones following a heart attack.

He was born to parents Ivy and Chester Swales on March 17, 1947 in Toronto. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Gord.

He is survived by his daughters Tarah and Lisa Swales, his stepdaughter Debbie and stepson Ken Harmer, his ex-wife Franca Carlyon, his sister Eleanor and her husband Graham and his sister-in-law Sheila and her partner Herb.

He will be sorely missed by his many nieces and nephews and their families as well as extended family and friends.

While Bob left us far too soon the impact he had with anyone who knew him will be felt for years to come. He had a great ability to make others smile and his sense of humour will be missed.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in Robert's memory would be greatly appreciated.
