Robert Blagdon

Blagdon, Robert Max (Bobby).

Born May 22nd 1944 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, passed away in Toronto, Ontario, on September 1st 2023 at the age of 79.

He was one of 10 boys born to his parents George and Melinda Blagdon (née Thornhill). He was pre-deceased by 6 of his 9 brothers including his twin Archie, and his brother Eric with whom he had a very close bond.

He loved his family and was a husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He is survived by his wife Sharon (née Newton) of 42 years. Father to Ronnie, Jason (Nahid), Melinda (Dave) and Sarah (Kyle).

Bobby loved his 5 grandchildren Owen, Bianca, Hudson, Jackson and Lucas. He is also greatly missed by his furry companions- his dogs Rosie and Coco and his cats Marigold and Sunshine. He leaves behind a family that will forever cherish the moments of joy, laughter and love they shared with him. As we bid farewell to this very strong and remarkable man, let us take solace in the knowledge that his spirit of love will forever illuminate the paths we walk. Bobby’s laughter, wisdom and kindness will endure in our hearts.

He is at peace. Memorial donations can be made to the Toronto Humane Society.
