Riziero Caravaggio

Caravaggio, Riziero – after a long and amazing life, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21th, 2013 at the age of 97. Beloved husband of Lucia for 71 wonderful years. Loving father of Fernando (Cathy). Devoted Nonno Riziero to Anthony (Marina), Marco (Tina), Stanley (Tania), Luciano (Anita) and Amanda (Greg). Will always be remembered and loved by his great grandchildren Matthew, Jessica, Joshua, Noah, Sarah, Jacob, Hannah, Zachary, Nicholas, Emanuel, Leah, Gianluca, Jack and Gabriella. His life and personality, the special way he always thought of others before himself touched many among his extended family, relatives and friends.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Saturday from 6-9 p.m and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, Toronto. Interment to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
