Rita Molella passed away on October 14, 2026, at the age of 87. Born on April 5, 1939, Rita lived a life defined by strength, courage, generosity, and an unwavering devotion to her family. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Quirino, whom she married on July 25, 1959.
A true matriarch, Rita was the heart and foundation of her family. Widowed at a young age, she faced life's challenges with remarkable resilience, raising her children and lovingly caring for her grandchildren and other family members. Her strength was matched by her generous heart, positive spirit, and determination to always provide for those she loved. With a smile that could light up a room, Rita brought warmth and comfort to everyone around her. In the kitchen, she was the undisputed boss, bringing her family together through food, tradition, and love.
Beloved mother of Laura (Goke), Danny (Josie), and Tommy (Anna), and cherished grandmother of Julia (Lali), Robert (Ashely), Luca (Samantha), Mayah (Vittorio), Alessia, Erica, Samantha, and Michela. Rita will also be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She is reunited with her siblings, Maria, Luigi, and Mario.
Rita leaves behind a lasting legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion. Though she will be deeply missed, her beautiful smile, courageous spirit, and the love she gave so freely will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
