It is with profound sadness that I announce the passing of my beloved wife Rita in her 89th year of life, at Bethell Hospice on January 22, 2019. Rita was predeceased by her parents, Anna and Frank Nauss, and her sister Helen Mayhue. She is survived by her loving husband Dr. William V. Johnstone. Rita loved golfing and playing bridge at Brampton Golf Club with her friends and me and also spending winters in Florida and entertaining. I feel greatly privileged to have shared the last 50+ years. Rita will be cremated and the arrangements have been entrusted to Ward Funeral Home - Brampton Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held at the Brampton Golf Club at a later date. Donations in Rita's memory may be made to The Bethell Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 75, Inglewood, ON, L7C 3L6 and would be appreciated.
