Rino Dardengo
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday February 13, 2023 at the age of 87. Devoted husband of Odilla of 65 wonderful years. Proud father of Robert (Giuliana) and David (Doriana). Cherished Nonno of Luca (Monica), Alessia (Mario), Christopher and Milena. Loving Bis Nonno of Niko and Julian. He will be sadly missed by his dear brother Carlo and his many family and friends.
Rino was a skilled painter and wallpaper installer. He used his talents to start his own business, Meritview Decorating. He was so proud to have is sons join the business.
Rino was a proud family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. And when the love of his life needed him most, he was there at her side. When Odilla made the move to Villa Leonardo Gambin, Rino made Villa Leonardo Gambin his second home to spend time with Odilla. Everyone knew Rino there.
Rino took pride in his cars and his garden which he spend endless time with both. He could often be found watching Fomula 1 races on TV or in person.
He will be forever in our hearts.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7 (just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday February 16, 2023 at St. Clare of Assisi Church 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
