Generali, Rina – peacefully surrounded by her family after a long and full life on Saturday, November 19, 2011 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Orlando. Loving mother of Ivana (Gino) Tupone, David (Lida) and Danny (Patrizia). Cherished Nonna of Natasha (Mark), Julian, Alyssia, Genna and Lucas. Rina will be fondly remembered by all her family and friends for her strength and her courageous battle with cancer which she successfully conquered twice over the last 30 years. Her great love for life and family gave her the courage to achieve this. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Rd., Weston. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
