Rev. Dr. Violet Jones

Rev. Dr. V.M. Jones – peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 27th, 2013 at The Village of Humber Heights at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Pastor R.A. Jones (Chief Apostle). Loving mother of Eva Ann Jenkins, Pansy A. Mullings (Earle R.), Joyce L. Jones and Shaun St. James Jones. Cherished grandmother of Delta, Michelle, Marsha, Delia, Erin, Nathaniel, Elysha, Earl Jr., Luke, Andre and 26 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Violet will be forever loved by her surviving sisters, brothers, sisters and brothers in law, numerous nieces and nephews and her church family. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday, July 11th, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Going Home service will be held on Friday, July 12th, 2013 beginning at 7 p.m. at Bethel Apostolic Church, 1831 Weston Road, Weston with the funeral service commencing at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 13th, 2013.
Interment to follow at St Philip’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Bethel Apostolic Church would be greatly appreciated.
