Renata Piccione

Renata Teresa Piccione

Mother, grandmother, gardener, cook.

Died at Humber River Hospital, Friday July 4th, 2025, just 3 months shy of her 90th birthday and surrounded by her immediate family who were with her in her last moments. She is re-united with her beloved husband, Francis; her siblings Ada, Maria, Giovanni and Ugo. She is survived by her two sisters, Bruna and Leonia; her three loving children, Alessandra (Sergio), Francesca (Caitlin) and Mariangela (Sarah); her step-granddaughter, Maddy, and grandson Luca.

Renata was an avid gardener, known for her love of flowers and vegetables. She had exacting taste and a generous heart. She cooked passionately the food of her own mother, and passed down the recipes to those who would receive them. She cultivated a broad network of love both near and far through extended family, friends and loved ones come and gone. She was a force to those who knew and loved her, and will be fiercely missed.
