Indovina: Provvidenza “Zina” (nee Longo)

Peacefully after a lengthy illness with her family by her side on Tuesday June 3rd, 2014 at MacKenzie Health Centre at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Giuseppe. Loving mother of Sal and his fiancée Kim, Antonino and his wife Cecilia, Provie and her husband Joe, Gus and his wife Georgia and Rosanne and her husband Grant. Nonna will be fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters and predeceased by one granddaughter. Dear sister of Mary Battaglia (Joe), Sam Longo (Jill), Gus Longo (MaryAnne), and predeceased by her sister Rosemarie and brothers Tommy and Joe. Sister in law of Agostino Indovina, Antonino Indovina (Rosetta), Zina Longo,Teresa Longo and the late Nicola and Philippo. Cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Thursday, from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. David’s Church, 2601 Major MacKenzie Dr. in Maple, on Friday, June 6th, 2014 at 9:30 am. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to The Canadian Liver Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
