It is with great sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pio Lippi at the age of 79. Devoted husband of Mirella, Loving father of Flora (Carlo), and Michael (Marisa). Cherished nonno of Alana, Adam, Sierra, Nicole and Daniel. The family of Pio would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Brian Cho, Nurse Nikita, and Nurse Uwanda for their excellent care. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm . A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St.Clare of Assisi Church (150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge) on Wednesday April 22nd, 2015 at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Humber River Regional Hospital Foundation Keele Street site would be appreciated by the family.
