On Thursday, August 30, 2018 we said goodbye to our beloved Pio D’Amico at the young age of 100. Beloved husband to Ausilia for 71 years of marriage and loving father of Giuliana and Maurice. Cherished grandfather to Linda (Angelo), Cristina (Gianpaolo), Victoria and Natalie and great-grandfather to Sofia, Gabriel, John and Juliana. Pio was a hard working and dedicated family man. He was always the life of the party and was happiest when he was spending time with his family and friends. Pio will be most remembered for his glass of red vino, walking to church every day and riding his blue bicycle around the neighborhood. He was the heart of our family, a kind and gentle soul. He was our hero. Pio will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by many. Visitation will take place at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Bernard de Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church (1789 Lawrence Avenue West, Toronto) on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
