Pina Henriques

Pina Henriques, born on April 8, 1959 in Toronto, Ontario was sent to her eternal home on May 9, 2025.

Pina will be welcomed in heaven by her loving parents, Mario and Italia. She is survived by her loving husband Zeke, her sons Mario (Debbie) and Mike (Natalie), her brother Luch (Rose, Lucas, Olivia), her Grandchildren (Isabella, Brianna, Nathan, Emma and Jack), her Great-Grandchild (Kiah), and her cat (Zack).

Pina, as she was affectionately known, was a shining light in the lives of all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She found joy in spending time with her family and friends. She loved the holidays and loved to make her famous Torrone with her friend Joanne. She loved shopping (Superstore, Winners) and loved watching movies (Ten Commandments, Home Alone, Titanic). She also loved getting her hair done by her friend and hairdresser Anne.

Those who knew Pina will remember her for her infectious smile, overwhelming laughter, and her unwavering commitment to spreading kindness to everyone she encountered. She had a rare gift for putting others before herself and always wore her heart on her sleeve. Pina was full of life, sensitive, selfless and known as the glue of the family. She loved to unwind with a glass of wine and tell stories.

Pina's journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and dedication to her family and friends. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by her. We ask that you remember her not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind a definite impact on all those who crossed her path. She will be greatly missed.
