Pietro was born in Montescaglioso, Province of Matera to parents Francesco Virzi and Pacifica Bubbico. He is one of 7 siblings.
He was married to AnnaMaria Virzi for almost 60 years. Father to his eldest son, Francesco, daughter in-law Egidia and grandson Pietro - Vito, middle son Nunzio Virzi with his children, AnnaMaria, Pietro and Francesca, youngest son Domenico, daughter in-law Violeta and granddaughter AnnaMaria Stanica.
He is brother to Anna (deceased) Domenico (deceased), Francesca (deceased), Mauro, Vincenza, Maria Maddalena (deceased).
Family & friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge ( just west of Pine Valley Dr.) on Tuesday September 10, 2024 from 3pm - 8pm. A Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge on Wednesday September 11, 2024 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
