Pietro Tarasco

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Pietro Tarasco after a brief illness on Friday, August 10, 2018; at the age of 93. Beloved husband to Rosa Tarasco for 68 years of marriage. Loving father to Saverio (Cecile), Bernice (Domenic), Maria, Tony (Debbie), Anna (Ian) and Joseph (Valerie). Cherished by his 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pietro was a proud and dedicated family man. He loved socializing, playing cards, tending to his perfected wine and perhaps most of all - being a comedian. He loved being a prankster and in doing so bringing laughter and smile's to those around him. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his family and friends. Visitation will take place at Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge) on Monday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
