Peacefully, on Thursday July 8th, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer at the Dorothy Ley Hospice, Toronto, Phyllis Battista in her 80th year. Dearly beloved wife of the late Gene. Loving mother of Perry (Janet) and Michele Konieczny (Ed). Loving Nana of Jesse and Krystle. Sadly missed by many friends and relatives. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston from 2-4 and 6-9 pm Sunday.A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at All Saints R.C. Church (1415 Royal York Rd.) on Monday at 9:30 am.
Interment to follow at Sanctuary Park Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Dorothy Ley Hospice would be appreciated. A Book of Memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
