Peter Bridges

Peter Bridges passed away peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital on September 25, 2026, shortly after his 79th birthday. Born in Brampton, Peter’s life began in the community that would also remain the place of his passing.

Peter will be remembered with love by his family and by those who knew him over the years. He is survived by is daughter, Lori Bridges, and by Lori’s husband, Barry Thompson. Brother to Kenneth Bridges.

He was predeceased by Mary Lynn Martin, his former spouse and dear friend. The bond they shared continued to hold meaning, and her memory remains an important part of Peter’s story. He was a career truck driver spending most of his time with AFA. Peter was an adoring "dog Dad", he and Scooter were morning regulars at the dog park. In his younger years, Peter was very involved with hockey and lacrosse in Brampton; he also had a love for golf. 

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and services will be private. Peter's family would welcome memorial donations to the Farley Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
