It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Petar Ramnjanc, who passed away at the age of 85.
Born in Deliblato, Serbia, Petar immigrated to Toronto, Canada, in 1976, where he courageously began a new life with his family.
Through determination, hard work, and perseverance, he built a successful business and became a respected business owner. He was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand.
Petar will be deeply missed by his beloved son, Dusan (Vicki), and his daughter, Dusanka, along with his extended family, dear friends, neighbours, and all whose lives he touched.
Family was the centre of Petar's life. A devoted father, he worked tirelessly to provide opportunities for his family while building a life founded on love, honesty, and resilience. He found great joy in gardening, fishing, and passionately following European football. Known for his wonderful sense of humour, he had a gift for making people laugh and bringing warmth to every gathering.
Petar will be remembered as a man of integrity, generosity, and quiet strength. The outpouring of love and support from friends, neighbours, and the community is a testament to the respect and affection so many held for him.
Dusan and his wife, Vicki, will forever miss the backyard barbecues, the regular phone calls, the wise advice, the unwavering support, and the countless moments of laughter they shared with Petar. While their hearts are heavy with grief, they find comfort in knowing he is reunited with the love of his life, his beloved wife, Mara Ramnjanc, who passed away earlier this year. After 61 years of marriage, they are together once again.
Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him
