Died peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital after a brave battle with cancer on May 27, 2015, at the age of 75. Predeceased by her loving husband, Keith Thomas Law. Loving and champion Mum to Stuart, Debbie and James. Brilliant, devoted and proud Nana to Emily, Thomas, Ben, Alexandra and Caroline. Pauline grew up in England in the Second World War and its aftermath. Given that her Dad served overseas, she didn’t meet him until she was 6 years old. She married Keith on Canada Day 1961 and immigrated to Canada in 1976. She missed England dearly but gradually acclimatized to life in Canada becoming a vocal and loyal fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Hockey made her Canadian. Pauline worked at OTMH for many years before moving on to The Wool Bin in Downtown Oakville. As a warm, generous and kind person, she made friends wherever she went. Her garden and knitting were lifelong passions. Her roast beef and Yorkshire pudding was world famous. Friends are warmly invited to attend a celebration of Pauline’s life on Sunday, June 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Harbour Banquet Centre, 2340 Ontario Street, Oakville (Bronte Harbour). Donations in Pauline’s memory, if desired, to the Canadian Cancer Society. Please also visit our Book of Memories at www.wardfuneralhome.com
