REYNOLDS,Patrick Livingston age 73 passed away peacefully February 26,2026 at Cummer Lodge, North York.
Patrick was born October 11,1952 in St Mary’s Islington Jamaica. He was predeceased by his mother the late Mavis Boland and the late Lincoln Reynolds. Patrick was survived by his wife Veretta Brooks-Reynolds, daughters Zebulina Reynolds, Octavia Peters, Nephra Peters, sons Richard Reynolds, Floyd Reynolds, 4 granddaughters and 8 grandsons all of Toronto, Ontario.Patrick is survived by many siblings in London England and Jamaica.

Patrick took an interest in bricklaying and masonry work at a young age and mastered the trade for much of his life. He was known as a perfectionist in his bricklaying and masonry skills. Patrick never left a job unfinished until it was nothing short of perfection. Patrick was employed by Benatar Masonry for over 20 years as well as being employed by several other companies. Patrick was a longtime member of LIUANA Local Union 183. Patrick left his mark brick by brick on every new community development all over the GTA and beyond.

Patrick was known in his community in Jamaica as bass due to his deep voice which has now been silenced. Patrick loved to sing reggae music, DJ his classic LP reggae classic while singing out tunes in the microphone with his familiar deep vocals. Everyone who knew Patrick knew him for his distinguished voice that could be and recognized anywhere.

Patrick was a homebody who loved to cook, read his bible and share memories of his life journey to his family and friends. Patrick was an avid Rastafarian and never wavered from his religious beliefs. Patrick always found engaging in long conversations about the bible with friends and strangers alike, he always encouraged everyone to live a Godly life and to be kind to one another. Patrick knew the Bible from Genesis to Revelations and no one could tell him any different than what he believed and perceived it to be. You could always find Patrick sitting quietly mediating deeply in thought and when asked what he was thinking about his response would always be the same that he was reasoning with God and spending time in God’s presence.

Patrick respected all his family, friends and strangers, he would give the shirt off his back to anyone that was in need. It pleased him nor bothered to do without and to make others happy rather than himself. His desire was for everyone to get along without any strife. Patrick will always be remembered and missed for his funny sense of humorous descriptive words when telling a story, his corkiness, his, eccentric attitude, for being too serious at times and boldly unapologetic for being Patrick. Patrick had the biggest heart that matched with his stature and personality. Our hearts mourn and will never be the same. We miss you so much and are so thankful for all the lasting memories that you left us with to laugh, to reminisce and to cherish. Patrick not only will you always be in our hearts we know you will always be in our presence. Rest easy, rest peaceful my love.
