PINTO, Patricia Louise (née Hagerty)

Passed away peacefully at home in Toronto, surrounded by her children, on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at the age of 97. Predeceased by her beloved husband John, to whom she was married to for 60 years.  Loving and devoted mother of John, Mary (John Barnett), Elizabeth and Meg.  Much adored grandmother of Dervla, Lucie, Éamonn and Stella Pinto, and David and Amy Barnett.  Newly great-grandmother of Lachlan Pinto.  Predeceased by her brother Jack Hagerty.  Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Joan Hagerty and Barbara Pinto.

The family wishes to extend its deep gratitude to caregiver Sharon Anderson for her compassion and care given to Mom over the past four years, and to the St. Elizabeth Health nurses and the NYGH Palliative Care team for their dedication and support.  

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial at ST. GABRIEL'S PARISH, 670 Sheppard Avenue East (east of Bayview Ave.) on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 11:00 am.  The Funeral will be live-streamed.  Private family interment.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society, or a charity of your choice.   Condolences and memories may be forwarded to the family through Ward Funeral Homes (Weston Chapel) (wardfuneralhomes.com/weston-chapel).
