Patricia Cahill

Passed away peacefully in Knowlton, Quebec on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the age of 73. Predeceased by her husband Leo in 2007. She is survived by her daughters Eileen (of Korea) and Cathy (Todd Munro of West Brome) as well as her dearly loved grandchildren, Chloe and Theo. She leaves behind to mourn, her sisters Kathleen (Gerry Parsons of Montreal), and Dolores (the late Ron Buccino of Oakville, Ontario) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents James Frederick Taylor and Julia Stafford as well as her brothers Michael (Irene), Sarsfield (Shirley), Kenneth, Russell (Pamela), Leo, and Fred (Margaret).

Born and educated in Montreal, Patricia was a graduate of Saint Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing. She moved with her husband Leo and family to Oakville in 1986. Many thanks to the superb staff at Knowlton House who looked after Mum with dignity and caring.

Visitation will be at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905-844-3221) on Thursday May 12 from 7-9 p.m. The funeral mass will be held Friday, May 13 at 10 a.m. at Saint Dominic’s Roman Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca Street, Oakville. Burial to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Burlington.
