Pasqualina Delle Donne

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pasqualina Delle Donne who passed away at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital on January 14, 2024. Born to Viola and Michaelangelo Vacca of Castel Pizzuto, Isernia, Molise, Italy on April 5, 1945.

Pasqualina was the cherished wife of Ugo for almost five decades. She was the loving mother of Libero (Franca) & Tony (Michelle). The proud grandmother of Lucas, Sofia, Isabella & Chiara. Cherished sister of late Gilda (late Vincenzo), Antonio (Maria) & Margherita (Domenic). She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces & nephews.

Throughout her life, Pasqualina provided unwavering support to her beloved husband Ugo, working with him ensuring his success. As a result of their efforts and sacrifices, their children & grandchildren were granted numerous opportunities.

She was a woman of great faith, developing many relationships through her faith, she thoroughly enjoyed singing in the choir of St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church along with her sister.  She was loved and admired by those close to her and enjoyed deep relationships with many friends and family members throughout the years.

All her relationships were transformed by one, single ingredient: love—the most essential ingredient for our time here on earth. Thinking of Pasqualina brings a smile to the lips of those who knew her because she loved life. She always had a smile. Whether you were at the family home to tile the basement, or clean windows you knew that she would prepare a feast for you, a genuinely giving person, whose legacy of love will live on in her family. The void she leaves behind is a testament to the profound impact she had on all of us. Yet, in that absence we find the inspiration to live as she did: with kindness, strength, and boundless love.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the St. Margaret Mary Roman Catholic Church (8500 Islington Ave. Woodbridge) on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 9:30 a.m., with entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
