Pasquale Gallucci

Pasquale was born in Faeto, Foggia, Italy on 1928. He was the first son of Antonio and Maria and big brother to Leonardo, Vincenzo, Elvira and Umberto.
Pasquale immigrated to Canada in 1951 and he worked in the Red Lake Mines. A friend, Joe Nucci, showed him pictures from Malito and a young 19 yr. old, Emma, caught his eye. They were married in Red Lake and welcomed Antonio, Vincenzo and Concettina.
Pasquale started working for the Toronto Transit Commission in 1964 where helped build the subway system. Italians build Toronto in the 1950's where they lived and raised their families. Pasquale was known as fun-loving, physically strongest and most honest workers who only missed 2 days of work in thirty years. His dedication to his workplace was talked about fondly at his retirement in 1993.
Pasquale's greatest passion in life was his family. One of his greatest pleasures in life were Sunday lunches surrounded by his family. Nonno spent happy times with his grandchildren Mark, Tonya, Nick, Paul, Jenna and Emma and his great grandchildren Keyona & Devante. Nonno showed great interest and affection for each one.
Pasquale's life was surrounded by family and friends. Neighbours and family knew if they needed help to build a fence or house then ask Pasquale he will always help you. Pasquale will be remembered as a man who lived by simple rules in life. He believed in working hard and enjoying a job well done.
Emma, love of his life, and Pasquale were married 59 years and they had Tony, Vince (Maxine) and Connie. Grandchildren Mark, Tonya (Keyona, Devante), Nick, Paul, Jenna and Emma.
We hold our memories in our hearts and he will always be loved and never forgotten.
