It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Pasquale “Squals” Casciato on May 13, 2026, at the age of 49.
Born in Toronto on March 4, 1977, Pasquale was the cherished son of Elsa Casciato and the late Domenico Casciato. He was the beloved younger brother of Zelinda (Michael) and Pasqualina (Sam), and proud Zio to Leo and Daniel.
Pasqua will be forever loved and deeply missed by the love of his life and fiancée, Rachel.
He is now reunited with their beloved cat, Jax, who held a special place in his heart.
Pasquale had a lifelong passion for motorcycles. Whether he was out on the open road or working on his bike, it was where he felt most at peace, earning his motorcycle license even before his driver’s license. He also had a great love for soccer, both playing and watching the game, and was known to be an exceptional goalie. A devoted hockey fan as well, he enjoyed cheering on the Montreal Canadiens. He also took great pride in everything he did and was known for being meticulously clean and organized. Whether caring for his home or his motorcycle, or detailing cars he approached life with care and attention to detail. He shared this gift with many friends throughout Woodbridge, ensuring their cars looked flawless and showroom-ready under his expert care.
He will be remembered for his fierce loyalty, spirited personality, and generous heart. Pasquale cared deeply for the people he loved and was always there for those closest to him. His presence, humour, and unwavering devotion to his family and close friends will be missed beyond words.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at St. Peter's Parish (100 Bainbridge Avenue, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
