It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Parisa Sadri on December 23, 2025, at the age of 54. Parisa was born in Tehran, Iran on May 10, 1971, to parents Daryoush and Behjat, and was a loving sister to Afshin (Shahnaz) and Arash.

Parisa met the love of her life, Ramin at the University of Manitoba in 1992, and have been happily married for 27 years. Together they have two sons, Keyan and Arman, who adored her and will cherish her memory forever.

Parisa touched the lives of all that knew her. She spent her life dedicated to her family and friends and to her work researching liver cancer. She was always the person to go to if anyone needed anything and was a wonderful confidant. She was everyone’s favourite cousin and shared a very special bond with both her mother, who was her best friend, and her niece, Pauneez.

Parisa enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and baking for them when she could, and she loved to read in her free time. She will be remembered for her very gentle soul, her strength and resilience, and her positivity. She fought well and never showed signs of pain.

She will be greatly missed by her extended family and friends.

Though our grief over losing Parisa is infinite, her loving memory will remain in our hearts

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. as Parisa’s family will be sharing stories and speaking about her life for the duration of her visitation. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Guests are also encouraged to be prepared to depart for Beechwood Cemetery promptly at 2:30 p.m.
