After a courageous ten month struggle following a massive stroke, he passed away in peace with his family by his bedside at Brampton Civic Hospital.
He will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by family and friends here in Canada, Germany, Ireland and the United States.
Friends will be received at Ward Funeral Home 52 Main St. (Hwy 10) Brampton on Monday, April 26th from 7-9pm and on Tuesday, April 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Marguerite D'Youville Catholic Church 2490 Sandalwood Pkwy. East, Brampton, followed by interment at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Mississauga.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and/or the Hospital for Sick Children would be greatly appreciated. A book of memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
