Born on May 28, 1934 in S. Martino al Tagliamento, Pordenone, Italy; died on January 01, 2013 in Woodbridge, Ontario.
It is with great sadness and sympathy that we suddenly lost our dear husband, father and nonno whom we cherished. Beloved husband of Alberta for 46 years. Loving father of Sonia and Andrea Pittis, and Stephen and Sabrina Ongaro. Proud nonno of Soraya, Gianpaolo, Olivia, Sienna and Daniel. Dear brother of Giuliano (Linda, and their family), Diana in Italy, and brother-in-law of Lydia (Mario Buttazzoni and their family) of Sudbury.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100, on Thursday, from 6-9 p.m., and on Friday, from 2-4 pm & 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Parish, 150 St. Francis Ave., Woodbridge on Saturday, January 5th, 2013 at 9:30am. Entombment at Glendale Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
