Olinda Maria de Medeiros

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Olinda Maria De Medeiros on Tuesday, January 9th. She was a Devoted Wife to Manuel De Medeiros. Loving mother to Linda, Chantel, Westlee (Lesley), Timothy (Andrea) and Immanuel (Becky). Cherished Vavo to Tatyana, Ceianah, Murciano, Noah, Landon, Brielle, Zayden and Cruz. Predeceased by her Parents Natalia and Elias Medeiros and her brother Denart (Inoia), She will be missed by her sisters Marylou (John), Donna (Tony), Suzette (Bryant), brothers Sam, Leo (Bella). In-laws Conceicao (Carlos), Luzia (Joe), Madelena (Mario), Joe (Gilberta), Lurdes (predeceased by Manuel), her many Nieces and Nephews, family, friends and her dear cousin Gaby . 

 

Despite having a debilitating spinal stroke 10 years ago that left her Paralyzed and on a breathing machine, Olinda’s personality continued to shine through as the vivacious fun loving woman she was known to be. Always taking the opportunity to laugh and joke around when possible. She was strong and a fighter and she constantly challenged her body to work hard for her. She was an inspiration to us all. 

 

Her pride and joy was her family and she was happiest when surrounded by them all. God was her foundation and strength each and everyday.

 

She will be greatly missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.
