Odilla Dardengo

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Odilla Dardengo (nee Del Col) on March 29, 2026, in Woodbridge, Ontario, at the age of 88. Odilla was born on September 1, 1937, in Praturlone, Italy, to her loving parents, Urbano and Regina, both of whom predeceased her. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Rino, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion.

A devoted mother, Odilla will be deeply missed by her sons, Roberto (Giuliana) and Dave (Doriana). She was a proud and loving nonna to Luca (Monica), Alessia (Mario), Christopher, and Milena, and a cherished bisnonna to Niko, Julian, Dante, and Cristian.

Odilla married Rino on December 8, 1957, in Italy before building a new life together in Canada. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, creating a warm and loving home where everyone was cared for and welcomed.

She had a true passion for cooking, always expressing her love through the meals she prepared. Her kitchen was the heart of the home, where family gathered and memories were made. She also took great pride in tending to her gardens and flowers, making sure everything around her was always beautiful and thoughtfully maintained.

She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love she gave so generously to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in all those who were fortunate enough to know and love her.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Highway 7, Woodbridge) on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at St. Clare of Assisi Parish (150 St. Francis Avenue, Woodbridge). Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
