Peacefully at home on February 19, 2015 at the age of 95. Beloved husband for 58 years to Jean. Loving father of Margaret-Jean (David) Morandin and John (Kirsty) Kernaghan.
Proud Grandpa of Andrea, Nicole, Eloise and Tristan. Survived by his sister Nancy Johnstone. Predeceased by his brother Jim Kernaghan. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.
Norman loved to talk to people especially young people and he always had a wealth of stories and advice to pass along. He was an avid reader and maintained his subscription to the Toronto Star to keep up on local and world events.
Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday February 26th at 11 am followed by a reception at the funeral home. Interment Sanctuary Park Cemetery.
Memorial Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
